Ryan Assunto is Vice President of National Christian Foundation Houston, serving the Central Texas region.  Ryan is passionate about helping givers experience the life-changing joy of generosity.  He is focused on relationship development with individuals, families, professional advisors, and ministry leaders.  Ryan is a graduate of Texas A&M University with a B.A. in Communications and Dallas Theological Seminary with a M.A. in Biblical Counseling.  His professional career includes significant involvement in multiple facets of the construction industry as well as vocational Christian ministry with college students and professional counseling.  Ryan and his wife, Allison, have lived in Austin since 2004, where they are currently busy raising two young children.  They are both active in their local church and multiple community and international service organizations.

Nicole Barber is Executive Assistant of National Christian Foundation Houston. Nicole spent most of her career working in human resources for an insurance billing company. Nicole is married to Brandon, they have four children.  They are members of Fellowship of Champions.

Waters Davis is President of National Christian Foundation Houston.  Waters has spent most of his business career in Houston working in real estate, private equity, and different facets of the energy business.  Waters has worked in leadership positions as a consultant with McKinsey and executive positions of large organizations including Reliant Energy where he was President of the Retail Energy Division at the time of electricity deregulation in Texas in 2002 as well as several smaller organizations including D2C Technology and Spark Energy. He previously served as an Executive Advisor with CCMP Capital Advisors and serves on the boards of several companies including ESOL, Targa Corporation, and Milacron. Waters has an undergraduate degree in Architectural Engineering from The University of Texas and an MBA from Harvard Business School.  He has a passion for discipleship and equipping the Body of Christ to raise up fruit bearing disciples.  Waters believes God has “called” him to his current position at NCF and considers it an honor and privilege to serve the kingdom in this way.  Waters is actively involved at Chapelwood Methodist Church.  He is married to Karen and has two sons.

Melissa McNier is Director of Giver Services for National Christian Foundation Houston.  She is not a native Houstonian but migrated South from Michigan after 26 years of unbearable winters.   She served as an active member, and was employed as the Administrator/Operations Director for The City of Refuge Presbyterian Church for nearly 10 years, which also included part-time administration at the Forge for Families.  Melissa considers God’s greatest human "gift" her 14 year old daughter.

Joanna Schima is Administrative Coordinator for our ministry in Austin and Central Texas.  She joined NCF in 2007, helping to set up the systems, processes and programs for the new NCF Houston affiliate office. In 2012, Joanna moved to Austin to serve givers in Central Texas and is now assisting Ryan Assunto in initiating the Austin affiliate.  She has a BA in English from Texas State University and graduate hours at the University of Houston.  Her background includes work in telecommunications, human resources, compliance, shareholder reports and private foundations.  Joanna also enjoys teaching General Education Diploma (GED) classes in a local Austin ministry.  Joanna loves to see the delight givers experience as they discover the joy of generosity and their ability to affect positive change through directing the resources that God has put in their hands.  She is an active member of Riverbend Church.  She has two children and three grandchildren.
